Why We Built This Site
Idaho provides public access to many government and court records, but Bonneville County records do not all live in one system. Public case status is searched through Idaho iCourt. Court document copies may require a courthouse kiosk or a court records request emailed to courtarchives@bonneville.idcourts.gov. Recorded documents and marriage licenses route through the Recorder's Office. Sheriff's reports and crash records use BCSO Records, JustFOIA, CrashDocs, or in-person service at the Law Enforcement Building.
The goal is to organize those official paths by record type so a person can tell whether the next step is the District Court, the Magistrate Division, the Clerk, Auditor, and Recorder, the Bonneville County Jail, the Sheriff's Office, Idaho Transportation Department, or another Idaho public office.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of Bonneville County, the State of Idaho, Idaho courts, the Sheriff's Office, or any clerk's office. There are real limits to what this site can do:
- We cannot file paperwork or send court records requests for visitors
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, marriage, divorce, probate, or recorded documents
- We cannot provide legal advice or interpret a specific case outcome
- We cannot change iCourt, jail roster, sheriff, recorder, or state database entries
Only the court, clerk, recorder, sheriff, or issuing Idaho agency can provide an official record or certified copy.

Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies run their own tools, set their own pricing, and control their own results.
